Modula Type Specimen Card Deck

For this project we were to create a type speciment that would best convey the spirit of a type designer's font. I chose Zuzana Licko and her font "Modula" from the Emigre Font Foundry. This is a full 54 deck of cards and each card is unique in their design and display of fonts.
To illustrate how this was an experimental font designed to be funky and test the limits of legbility I translated this into a card deck that both showed each font family from the font Modula as well as showed things such as Point Size, ligatures and interesting cases within each font.
I matched up each suit with a font type within the Modula Family. Given that there were four suits, there were also four families: Modula Regular, Modula Ribbed, Modula Outline and Modula Round
